The “Pearl of Africa” is a remarkable African destination with a wealth of unblemished safari encounters. On this Uganda wildlife safari, you will explore the stretch of wildlife from the western to the southwestern corridor. You will immerse yourself into a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience in Kibale Forest national park.
Kibale forest is known for a strong diversity of primates, with over 13 Species like Vervets, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys and others. Kibale has a density of more than 1’500 Chimpanzees hence referred to as the “Primate Capital of the World”.
You will visit Queen Elizabeth national park and witness the remarkable display of the African wildlife. You will browse its savannas on a game drive, and explore the Kazinga channel on a launch trip. So you sign off the safari with Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Note: Welcome to the Pearl of Africa! You will be warmly received by our guide on the day of arrival at the Entebbe International Airport. He will transfer you to your overnight accommodation in Kampala.

Package Itinerary
Depart for Kibale national park in the western part of the country after breakfast. The route through this part of the country is scenic, shrouded in the lush tea fields and raised rock outcrops all the way to Fort Portal tourism city.
O/night: Crater Safari lodge (Luxury)/ Primate lodge (Midrange)/ Kibale Forest Camp (Standard). Meal Plan: Half Board (HB)
Leave the lodge with packed lunch boxes after breakfast; the guide will transfer you to the reception area at Kanyancu where you will meet the researchers and guides with whom you will enter the forest for a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. On this activity, you follow an identified group of Chimpanzees on a full or half-day experience where you see them on their daily life. The habituation experience gives you more time with these primates.

Travel to Queen Elizabeth after breakfast, on arrival you will check-in to your booked accommodation where lunch will be. In the afternoon, you go for a game drive in the park where you expect to see a number of mammals like Elephants, Kobs, Buffalos and other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening where your dinner will be.

Go for an early game drive after breakfast, the safari drive through the rolling savannas of the park will reward you with lots of wildlife especially mammals like Buffalos, Warthogs, Antelopes and Elephants among others. Trails through Mweya or Kasenyi will offer you premier wildlife viewing opportunities.
After lunch, you will go for a launch trip along the Kazinga channel, this stretch between Lakes Edward and George is crammed with variety of wildlife including birds and mammals like Pelicans and Crocodiles, Hippopotamuses and others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
O/n: Elephant Plains lodge (Luxury)/ Buffalo Safari lodge (Midrange)/ Twin lakes safari lodge (Standard). Meal Plan: Full Board(FB)
Leave the lodge after breakfast, and travel to Bwindi through Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth where you will do a game drive for a chance to see the tree climbing Lions.
Afterwards, leave Queen and transfer southwards in the direction of Bwindi, on arrival, you will check-in to your booked accommodation where dinner and overnight will be.

O/n: Buhoma Lodge (Luxury) /Silverback (Midrange) /Buhoma Ride 4 a Woman (Basic). Or Any equivalent in the 4 sectors of the park depending on the gorilla tracking permit sector.
Leave the lodge after an early breakfast, and transfer to the reception area where you will receive briefing from the ranger about the tracking etiquette. You will then enter the forest to start-off the Gorilla trekking and the activity may last just a few hours to 8 hours depending on the Gorilla movements, their location and pace of the trackers. Once you meet them, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.

After breakfast, checkout from the lodge and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe, drop off will be at the hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
