Uganda is the only destination with two ultimate ways available for one to see the Mountain Gorillas! There’s the Gorilla Habituation Experience and the Gorilla trekking adventures. The country has two gorilla locations, that’s Bwindi Impenetrable forest and Mgahinga national park.
On this 3-day Uganda safari, you will encounter these prestigious Apes on a gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable’s Rushaga sector, the only location you can enjoy it.
The population of the Mountain Gorilla primates worldwide stands at around 1’063 individuals. The 321 sq.km Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park is a UNESCO world heritage site and it shelters more than half of them. Its the only destination you can take on the Gorilla habituation experience. It’s located in the Southwestern part of Uganda and the habituation experience gives visitors a mega 4 hours to stand in the presence of the Mountain Gorilla Great Apes.

Note: Welcome to the Land of the Mountain Gorillas! You will be warmly received by our guide at the airport and transfers you to the accommodation in Kampala for overnight.

Package Itinerary
Depart Kampala very early after breakfast, travel to the southwestern part of the country in the direction of the prestigious Bwindi Impenetrable national park. On this long day journey, you will stop at the Equator latitude for a simple experience; Kodak moments and souvenir shopping. You will also stop in Mbarara town for Lunch. Later continue with the journey all the way to the lodge in the proximity of the park, it’s here dinner and overnight will be.
Overnight: Gorilla Safari lodge (Luxury) /Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (Mid-range) /Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Basic).
Meal Plan: Half Board [HB].
Leave the lodge after breakfast, and with your lunch boxes then assemble to the park reception area where the Gorilla habituation activity commences from. You will meet with the team of habituators here, they will brief you about the activity and afterwards you enter the forest to start theexperience.
The Gorilla habituation experience offers visitors to the park an opportune moment to follow and see the Gorillas through their daily life from leaving their nests, feeding etc. until they build new nests.
On this activity, expect to spend more than 8 hours in the forest, its terrain and general nature is somehow challenging therefore, you need to be reasonably fit to complete the habituation.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge with blissful memories of your, Uganda gorilla habituation experience, later leave for Kampala via Igongo Cultural museum for an African cultural savor. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight or dropped off at the hotel.
