On this Uganda safari, you are to track the White Rhinos in the wilds of Ziwa sanctuary in Nakasongola. It’s the only natural habitat for Rhinos in the country but more to them is wildlife like Bushbucks, Oribi etc. In Murchison falls national park, you will browse the savannas for wildlife viewing in this jewel of a park. You will track Chimpanzees in Budongo Forest and as well trek the misty Bwindi for the Gorillas.
Murchison Falls is known for its powerful roaring falls which Sir Samuel Baker described as “the most important object in the entire course of the River Nile”. The falls are 7 meter wide and 45meters deep, characterized by a misty spray and so a visit to the top is the highlight of safaris to the park.
Bwindi Impenetrable forest is located in the southwestern part of Uganda. It’s a misty shrouded tropical mountain forest where you will trek the Mountain Gorilla Great Apes. Trekking in the forest is a remarkable African adventure and meeting the Gorillas is dazzling and emotional.
On this Uganda safari, visit two of the country’s top tourist destinations, Murchison Falls national park and Bwindi Impenetrable forest. You will see the Great 7 including the African Big Five and two of the world’s Great Apes so prepare for this wild adventure.

Note: Welcome to Uganda-The Pearl of Africa! The company guide will receive you at Entebbe International Airport the day you arrive. He later transfers you to the hotel in Kampala for overnight.

Package Itinerary
After breakfast, depart Kampala for Murchison Falls, located in the northwestern part of the country at the Northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley region. On the journey, you will break off in Nakasongola to Ziwa Sanctuary where you will track the Rhinos; which are members of the African Big Five. Leave the sanctuary after lunch and continue to the park.

After breakfast, transfer for a morning game drive, you browse the savannas on the northern bank to see Murchison Falls national park wildlife including 4 of the African Big Five.
In the afternoon, assemble at Paraa for a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls. The cruise on the Victoria Nile rewards you with scenes of wildlife on the banks and finally culminates into the frontal display of the falls. At the end of the return boat trip, you also visit top of the falls

Transfer south of the park to Budongo Forest after breakfast. The reserve hosts some habituated Chimpanzees which you will encounter on the forest walk and afterwards transfer to the airstrip in Murchison before mid-day for your domestic flight to Kihihi in Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

After breakfast, transfer early to the park reception area, have briefing and at around 0830 hours, the ranger guide will set into the forest with you for the Mountain Gorilla trekking adventure in this misty mountain forest that protects over 450 Mountain Gorillas.
Though challenging, the forest offers remarkable ambience and adventures to trekkers and once you meet the gorillas, you spend an hour in their presence.
Tracking through the forest leads you past remarkable rolling landscape and scenery to where the Gorillas will be found and the trek is somewhat demanding, therefore you need to be reasonably fit, and once you come across the Gorillas in the forest, you will spend an hour in their presence and later retreat to the starting point.
Afterwards, transfer to the airstrip at Kihihi for your domestic flight to Entebbe where you will connect to your international flight back home.
